We generally guarantee a 2 week turnaround time on most projects and a hi-res digital copy is sent to your email.
Because of the digital format, you can request any size for your gift caricature. Our standard size is 12x16.
Space requirements vary by the number of artists you have at your event. Generally speaking, a 5x8 section of your venue / artist is sufficient but often cram into smaller spaces.
Most of our caricature artists provide their own drawing table/ easel. Chairs and access to electricity are usually the only things we need. A good rule of thumb is 3 chairs / artist.
Each caricature artist is equipped with a bright informative sign that helps communicate with your guests and organize a line. In most cases, signup sheets aren’t necessary. In cases where you have more than one artist onsite, a single line is most effective.
Most of our caricaturists average between 17-20 people / hour when doing traditional caricatures. Digital caricatures are usually done in full color, and take 7-10 minutes / person.
All of our caricature artists roll up the drawings and put them in tube bags to ensure a safe trip home.
We are line pros! Our bright banners help us communicate with your guests so that they know who we are and where to form a line. Caricatures are really popular at events, so line organization is key.

We offer paper customization including logos and messages. These services have an additional fee of $50 + $25/hour/artist.
Caricatures aren’t just for people. We do numerous dog and cat caricatures for clients every year and we’re happy to do an illustration of any of your pets.

Due to the additional time required, full body drawings are not commonly done at live events. If this is important to you, we are happy to help. We do however do tons of full body drawings in our Gift Illustration department.

Depending on the market and type of caricature services (traditional or digital), prices range from $125-$250/ hour / artist, with a 2 hour minimum. Our gift illustrations start at just $65.00.
There is no additional fee to do color illustrations, but they do take quite a bit more time to complete. About 98% of our events are done in B&W.
Beyond the agreed booking fees, there is no additional charge for your guests. However, some of our clients choose to have us charge a fee to recoup expenses or raise money. This system is most commonly used with non-profits or fundraisers.
Upon signing a an event service agreement, a 25% deposit is due. This is 25% of your event fee, not in addition to the booking fee. The balance payment is due 1 week prior to the service date. Bax Illustration accepts a variety of payment options for your convenience.
We do our best to work with these budgets. If possible, we do try to offer discounts for these types of events and organizations. We also try to donate our time once /quarter for non-profit and charity events. Contact us for more details.
